Determined to maintain the beauty of Sioux Falls, Dick Beck and Chet Hofer launched a dream in 1980. To ensure top quality service, Dick and Chet insisted on actively being involved in the day to day operations of both the residential and commercial construction divisions. For over 30 years, Dick and Chet have built strong relationships with their clients. Because of this, repeat clients create 75% of our business.
Since 1980, Beck and Hofer has been dedicated to providing uncompromised service to clients, and professional growth and fulfillment for all employees. Just like the Beck and Hofer name, every building withstands the test of time and the intense South Dakota weather!
In 2010, Chet retired from his full-time position at Beck & Hofer, and now works as a Sales Consultant. John Beck accepted the position of President managing the day-to-day operation, and also continues to work as a Project Manager. Dick maintains an active role in overseeing the corporation as the Chairman of the Board, and consultant on business decisions.
