Safety Awards

Beck and Hofer's safety record is 183,690 hours and 886 days without a lost time injury and currently we are at 623 days and adding.

• President's Safety Award from The Heartland Group for 2002-2003, 2003-2004, 2004-2005 and 2006-2007.



• The 2002 Meritous Achievement Award for outstanding accident prevention performance in the Workplace safety & health from the SD safety Council.

Association of General Contractors Awards

Beck & Hofer has received an excellency in Remodeling Award and Safety Award (pictured left) from the Associated General Contractors (AGC). Also from AGC, Beck and Hofer has received the 2003 Build With The Best Award for outstanding public relations earned by a company on behalf of the building construction industry.

• The 2004 Paul Lepthien Memorial Safety Award for outstanding achievement & commitment to construction safety for safety director, Randy Reese.



• The 2003 Honorable Mention for Continual Pursuit to reduce employee incidents and injuries by providing them a safe and healthful workplace.



• The 2002 Paul Lepthien Memorial Safety Award for outstanding achievement & commitment to construction safety and 2004 for the individual category.

Butler Awards

We have also been awarded the High Performance Builder Award from Butler Manufacturing (pictured left) for seven years and were chosen National Butler Builder of the Year in 1994.

Chamber of Commerce Award

Godfather's Pizza, Beck and Hofer's building project, was selected as a recipient of the 1982 Remodeled Building Category Award presented by the Public Relations Division of the Sioux Falls Area Chamber of Commerce. Top left image is before picture and lower is after construction picture.

Awards of Excellence

Beck & Hofer has received several awards of excellency with the Sioux Falls Parade of Homes. We have also been the recipient of the U.S. Department of Energy Award for Energy Innovation for the home to the right. This award is given in recognition of a distinguished contribution to our Nation's energy efficiency.
